Dan & Christen | Walden Pond Engagement Photography

I'm finally finding time to blog, so I figured I would go most recently and backwards when I find more time. Plus, how could I not show these beauties off?! Christen and Dan were so sweet, hiking to find the perfect spot on an unusually warm day. Luckily, they chose Walden Pond to take photos, so we got to cool off by wading in! Yes, I said we. I definitely got in there as well! I can't wait to photograph this wonderful couple in December. I have a feeling their ceremony is going to be so incredibly moving. More Invested Than Ever

I have been meaning to start a blog for my photography business for, oh, two years now. It’s been just sitting there on my to-do list, always towards the bottom because let’s be serious - its harder than putting together collections of my favorite photos. I am finally making due on this promise to myself now because I am officially more invested in this business of mine than ever before as I have decided it is time to pursue this passion full time! I am a full-time photographer . Over the past 6 months, I felt myself slowly backing away from professional photography. I was at a cross roads in my life and my passion. I left my day job of 7 years for a new company, which was closer to home. I figured this was the time to do so and I would get through this season of weddings and not accept anymore as my business slowly faded away. God had other plans.
