More Invested Than Ever

I have been meaning to start a blog for my photography business for, oh, two years now. It’s been just sitting there on my to-do list, always towards the bottom because let’s be serious - its harder than putting together collections of my favorite photos. I am finally making due on this promise to myself now because I am officially more invested in this business of mine than ever before as I have decided it is time to pursue this passion full time!

I am a full-time photographer.

Over the past 6 months, I felt myself slowly backing away from professional photography. I was at a cross roads in my life and my passion. I left my day job of 7 years for a new company, which was closer to home. I figured this was the time to do so and I would get through this season of weddings and not accept anymore as my business slowly faded away.

God had other plans.

After two weeks at my new job, I determined I had made the wrong decision. I knew I wasn’t supposed to be there, but instead, be at home with my daughter and focusing on the career that I was meant to be doing right now - photography!

I look forward to being able to showcase my wonderful couples and families in this blog and take you on my adventure as I go from working full-time in a day job, pursuing my dreams at night to now just doing what makes me happy and keeps me thriving. I am beyond thrilled (don’t get me wrong… also so very nervous!) that I am where I am and it wouldn’t be possible without you. So, just know that every time I say thank you, I truly, with all of my heart and soul, thank you for choosing me to capture those precious memories. I have the BEST families and couples in my network and I can’t wait to see what this next season has in store for us!
